NIGHT TIME VISITORS

NIGHT TIME VISITORS

I love visitors... these are just  few that love to wander over at night....

Three sets of eyes watching and waiting...

Hiding behind the top of the pole looking out...

I'll be brave and lead the way... ringtailed possum.....

Here comes the family.

Finally in the tree and the camera's still there...

They can have the front yard, I'll take the back...

Feeling a bit washed out tonight...

Don't forget the rest of the family

They're on their way...

Right, here we come...

Last of the family... let the party begin....

  2. I thought you might like these, Catherine.. Last night, we had a parade. father, mother and baby... the baby kept getting sidetracked, just looking around. and jumping on to branches on the way. The adults would wait a bit and if too long, push the little one back up to the wire. I tried taking photos, but most of the action was too close to the street light, so didn't turn out.

You can just see the three sets of eyes in the top photo as they watched me...

  3. They are priceless indeed... sadly something must have happened to my precious "possum princess." A couple of weeks ago she only nibbled at her "tasties" and thereafter all her meals were left untouched. I miss her.

    1. Don't give up on her just yet, they do wander at times...maybe she has a mate. I'd still leave a little food out every few days and see what happens.

  4. Great photos Chris, I've lived in Adelaide the last five years but before that in the country. There are two things I miss - the animals and stargazing!

    1. I'd imagine I'd miss both if I didn't have them, but I live in the city, and am still lucky enough to enjoy them. Thanks for your comment.
